Faculty Success Program

The Faculty Success Program is a 10-week, virtual program offered by NCFDD that helps tenure-track and tenured faculty with the skills necessary to increase research and writing productivity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The program includes individual coaching sessions, weekly training, accountability calls, a supportive community and time-tracking skill-building.

Sponsorships

The Office of Faculty Affairs supports the participation of a limited number of faculty members for each session, with costs typically shared relatively equally between the office, the faculty member and their school/college department.

Faculty members must use internal funds designated for individual professional development to support participation in the Faculty Success Program. If such funds are not available, the school/college/ department may agree to an increased contribution. Faculty members should never pay for participation with personal funds. Additional subsidies from the Office of Faculty Affairs may be available in limited circumstances.

Requests for participation sponsorship are accepted by the Office of Faculty Affairs on an ongoing basis. Faculty members must indicate their preferred session. Priority will be given to individuals who confirm that funding is available.

If selected for sponsorship, the Office of Faculty Affairs will submit the selected faculty member’s registration, which results in a discounted rate. Faculty members should not register themselves.

Requests for Spring 2026 participation sponsorship are due by Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m.
