The Office of Faculty Affairs is committed to supporting the transition of new faculty members into the University community and their new role.
Ongoing development opportunities and programs for new and new(ish) faculty are designed specifically for faculty starting in their first year (new) and through their third year (newish), or until they are reappointed. The Office of Faculty Affairs also hosts a robust orientation program, social events and other opportunities for new faculty to connect.
These programs aim to help faculty:
- Connect with individuals on campus who support teaching, research or creative work
- Understand their role and related opportunities at the University
- Connect with colleagues across departments, schools and colleges
