- Important: Submit textbook information before the start of the semester to support student success and affordability.
- Include ISBNs and format options for all required materials
- Submit to campus bookstore (Barnes and Noble) for course registration system
- Federal requirement (HEOA): Textbook info must be available prior to course enrollment
- Help students plan: Timely info enables rentals, used books, and digital formats
- Indicate when no textbook is required or when using free/OER resources
- Support equity: Transparency helps students on financial aid plan effectively
Why it matters: Timely textbook adoption improves academic outcomes, enhances student satisfaction and contributes to retention and graduation rates.
- Review syllabus with students on first day
- Explain your AI policy choice and rationale
