On Nov. 28, 2023, Dartmouth College Professors Tarek El-Ariss, James Wright Professor and chair of Middle Eastern Studies, and Susannah Heschel, Eli M. Black Distinguished Professor and chair of Jewish Studies, discussed the facilitation of campus discourse about the Israel-Hamas conflict. The virtual event, sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and open to the University community, was moderated by Margaret Talev, Kramer Director of the Syracuse University Institute for Democracy, Journalism and Citizenship.
