Faculty Success Program Sponsorship

The Faculty Success Program is a 12-week online program and is the most popular program of the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. It helps tenure-track and tenured faculty with the skills necessary to increase research and writing productivity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The program includes individual coaching sessions, weekly training, accountability calls, a supportive community, and time-tracking skill-building.

Available Sponsorships from Faculty Affairs

Faculty Affairs supports the participation of a limited number of faculty for each session. The cost of participation typically is shared relatively equally among three entities:

  1. the participating faculty member;
  2. their department, school, and/or college; and
  3. Faculty Affairs

Faculty members must use startup funds or other internal funds designated for individual use, including internal grants, that can be used for professional development to support their participation. If the faculty member does not have internal funds designated for their individual use, the school, college, or department may agree to an increased contribution. Under no circumstances should a faculty member pay for participation with personal funds. Additional subsidies from Faculty Affairs may be available in limited circumstances.

Faculty Affairs accepts requests for sponsorship for participation on an ongoing basis. A complete request will include your preference of session. Priority consideration will be given to those individuals who confirm that funding is available to support their participation.
