In FYS 101, you’ll engage with peers across disciplines in small classes. Each section of FYS 101 is taught by a Lead Instructor who assist students in learning about topics like belonging, interdependence, health and wellness, identity, socialization, prejudice, discrimination, bias and stereotype.
Academic articles, podcasts, TED Talks, social media, videos, campus and community engagement, and reflective writing form the basis for active learning in the course.
