To be recommended, candidates are expected to have met prerequisites as listed below. In addition, they must have achieved meritorious accomplishments commensurate with the rank to which they hope to be elevated.
The categories considered for evaluation are teaching, creative professional accomplishment, and service. Where appropriate, documentation should be submitted. Each category is important, but it is not assumed that recommendations for promotion will require equal merit in all.
